DESCRIPTION:

This classic float trip is perfect for any client, especially birdwatchers and nature lovers. The scenery and wildlife along the Corobici are legendary. As you leisurely raft along this tranquil river, you might spot one of the more than 300 species of birds from the nearby Palo Verde National Park. Among the more commonly seen birds are ospreys, kingfishers, cormorants, and blue, tiger and boat-billed herons. Other wildlife in the area includes otters, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, iguanas and many other types of lizards. A delicious native-style lunch will be served at Rincon Corobici restaurant after you finish rafting.

This is the calmest rafting trip in Costa Rica, suitable for everyone from children to the elderly.
The pick up for this tour is right in front the pier and driving distance is less than 90 minutes.

What’s to bring: Towel, sandals for the river, extra T-shirt, short pants highly recommended, hat, sun tan lotion, camera and extra money for the souvenir.

Operational Notes

• Round trip transport between the ship and attractions.
• The meeting point is at the entrance of the pier for cruise ships arriving to puntarenas and gangway for cruise ships arriving into Puerto Caldera.
• Our guides will be at pier with a sign and the name of the pax on it.
• All buses have A/C
• Buses for 44 or 52 passengers have toilet.
• This tour has been designated an environmentally sensitive tour.
• Long pants or Jeans are highly recommended for this tour.
• Tour is not wheelchair accessible & is not for pax with any walking limitations.
• All tour guides are bi-lingual English – Spanish. For other languages please make the request in advance.
• During this tour, in some places there is no shade, pax should bring sunscream, a hat, sunglases, etc.
• During the rainy season, Sep- Nov, pax should expect some rain. Pax should bring a raincoat.
• Greenway Tours suggests pax to bring mosquito spray for beach and rain forest tours.
• Greenway Tours buses are equipped with First-Aid Kit in case of accidents.
• Pax should wear comfortable shoes.
• Pax should be advised to bring a backpack to store cameras, film, sunscream and any other belongings for easy travel.
